It is planned that the opening of the Mount Kerinci Jambi hiking trail will begin in the next 10 days starting last Sunday (04/12/22).

According to the TNKS Ministry of Environment and Forestry Information/Tourism Guide Officer, Maryono, the opening of the Mount Kerinci climbing route will be carried out based on instructions from the leadership.

However, based on information from PVMBG, the opening will take place in the next 10 days.

If Mount Kerinci remains stable and there are no more eruptions, then the plan to open the hiking trail will actually be opened according to schedule.
